  • What is ShapeLogic?

    ShapeLogic is a women-invented and patented sizing system created to standardize fit so that it feels like the garment was custom-made. Developed over 15 years, our ShapeLogic technology provides you with a personal two-number decimal system that considers a woman’s size as well as her unique body shape.   Knowing your ShapeLogic size is the key to getting perfect fitting bottoms.   • How does the ShapeLogic Quiz work?

    The ShapeLogic Quiz helps customers identify their unique shape by answering a few simple questions in relation to their traditional pant size and body shape, as well as where they tend to gain/lose weight. This information is then combined to give your ShapeLogic size consisting of two numbers. For example, 8.2 represents a ‘size 8’ with a ‘shape 2’ body type.

  • Why is my ShapeLogic size different than what I normally wear?

    Most brands do not account for a woman’s shape and in turn, often try to accommodate all fit concerns within one size. Measure & Made powered by ShapeLogic takes both your size and shape into account, sometimes resulting in a different size than what you are used to wearing because the pants are shaped for you.

  • What are common fit issues by shape that ShapeLogic solves for?

    Once customers know their ShapeLogic size, they can purchase pants that are truly made for their body type, solving the most common fit issues that women experience when purchasing pants off the rack, such as:

    • Shape 1 (straight) – pants are often too tight in the waist, yet too full in the backside, legs and hips.  When pants do fit in the waist, they are usually baggy in the rear and thigh.
    • Shape 2 (hourglass) – when pants fit around the hips, they are usually about an inch too large in the waist.
    • Shape 3 (curvy) – when pants fit around the hips, the thigh area is usually too tight and the waist is more likely to be loose, resulting in a gap in the back-waist area.
  • How would you best describe each shape?

    With ShapeLogic, 94.8% of women fall into 1 of 3 shapes:

    • Shape 1 (straight) – Straight Waist and Hips, Flatter Bottom, and Slim to Average Thighs. Tendency to gain or lose weight in your tummy.
    • Shape 2 (hourglass) – Defined Waist and Hips, Average to Curvy Bottom, and Medium Thighs. Tendency to gain or lose weight all over or in the hips right at the top of your legs.
    • Shape 3 (curvy) – Small Waist, Abundant Bottom and Hips, and Thick Upper Thighs. Tendency to gain or lose weight in your lower bottom and upper thighs.
  • Why are there only 3 body type shapes?

    Based on our research over a 15-year period, ShapeLogic has identified that 94.8% of women fall into one of three body types or shapes on the bottom, so by developing pants for each size and then each shape, almost any woman can find ShapeLogic to fit better than any pants they've tried on off the rack. A small percentage of customers may have to try more than one pair to get the perfect fit.

  • Is this like a body-shaper or a girdle?

    No, ShapeLogic does not attempt to mask, restrict or hide who you are! It accentuates your natural shape by providing you with the right fit and brings out the best in you. Once you have found your ShapeLogic fit, it feels as if it was tailored made just for you!

  • What if I gain or lose weight?

    When there are major changes in your body, such as surgery, childbirth or menopause, we recommend that you take the ShapeLogic Quiz again. But for the most part, your shape is your shape. The rule of thumb is that for every 10 to 12 pounds that you gain or lose, you go up or down a full size. For instance, if you lose 20 pounds, you would go down two sizes (or if you were a size 10.1, you will now be a 6.1). Or if you gain 12 pounds and you are 6.3, you would go up to an 8.3. It is that simple with ShapeLogic.

Product FAQs

  • What is the fabric content of your pants?

    • Our full-length dress pants are the perfect year-round weight and provide all day comfort. They are a poly-rayon blend with 4% spandex for stretch.
    • Our capris and shorts provide a casual but polished look. They are a cotton-poly blend with 4% spandex for stretch.
    • Our jeans are both soft and durable, as well as stylish and comfortable. They are a cotton-poly-rayon blend with 1% spandex for stretch.
  • How should I launder the pants or tops?

    All items are designed for self-care, however, you can dry clean select items if that is your preference. Specific care instructions for pants and tops are listed here:

    • Pants: Turn inside out. Machine wash cold with like colors. Only non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry low and remove promptly or dry-clean. Cool iron on reverse side if needed.
    • Capris/Shorts: Wash inside out in cool water with like colors. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Cool iron if needed or dry clean.
    • Jeans: Wash inside out. Wash before wearing. Machine wash cold with like colors. Do not bleach. Tumble dry medium, remove promptly. Iron with low heat if needed. Do not dry clean.
    • Tops: Machine wash cold with like colors, gentle cycle. Use only non-chlorine bleach. Tumble dry low. Cool iron if needed. For best results, wash and iron knit tops inside out.
    • Completer Cardigan: Turn inside out. Machine wash cold with like colors. Only non-chlorine bleach. Tumble dry low or reshape and dry flat for best results. Cool iron if needed.
  • Where are your pants made?

    Our pants are developed, designed, and tested by our team in the USA. We partner with facilities in China and Guatemala to produce the finished product and then ship to our warehouse in Utah so that we are in stock to ship your order once it is received.

  • What do I do if I find I am between sizes?

    Comfort is the key, but also personal preference is important. Do you like a more relaxed fit or a close fit? If you are between sizes and like a more relaxed fit, then choosing the larger of the two may be the best option for you. Conversely, if your preference is a closer fitting pant, then sizing down may be the best option.

  • What if my body falls between the height selections offered?

    Perhaps the style of pant is something that you may want to look at. Some women may feel a classic is too long, yet an ankle pant provides the perfect fit while retaining that classy style she likes. Conversely, your height may determine that the best fit for you is one of our classic pants in tall. The style may also be determined based on your preference for wearing boots, heels or flats. We take all of this into account when you take your fit quiz. It is designed to find you that perfect fit as well the right length for you.

  • What rise are the pants?

    All our pants are designed with medium rise. They have a ‘living’ waistband that is contoured to your shape and designed to sit 1.5” below your natural waistline at your belly button. The beauty of our mid-rise pants  and jeans is that they flatter your natural shape and are designed with comfort in mind. While you may at first be uncomfortable wearing a mid-rise, we ensure you they will help you look and feel your best.

  • Are they low rise pants?

    No, our pants are not low-rise pants or hip huggers. They are designed to sit 1.5” below natural waist at the belly button.

  • Are they high rise pants?

    No, our pants and jeans are not high-rise.  While this has become a recent trend and women feel high-rise ‘holds them in,” it does not actually embrace your shape or provide additional comfort.

  • Are the pants really stretchy?

    No. Our pants and jeans are made from high quality fabrics with just the right amount of stretch for added comfort when sitting, bending, or climbing stairs. They have a ‘living’ waistband contoured to your shape that moves with you.

  • Do the pants have pockets?

    All pant styles have front slash pockets and back welt pockets. All jean styles have front pockets and back pockets.

  • Do the pants have belt loops?

    None of the pant styles presently have belt loops, however, jeans do have belt loops.

  • Do the pants have buttons?

    Yes, all pants have a front fly zip with hook & eye and interior button closure. All jeans have a front fly zip with button closure.

  • Do you offer extended (plus) sizes?

    Our current size selection ranges from size 0 to 28 in 3 shapes each offering up to 100+ size and shape combinations depending on the pant selected.

  • Do you offer petites or shorter inseams?

    We do not offer petites at this time. However, we do offer a few styles with shorter inseams in both pants and jeans.

  • Do you have tall inseams?

    We offer tall inseams in all styles of our jeans, but not all washes, as well as the straight pant.

  • What is the best way to contact the Customer Support team?

    We love connecting with our customers and find that speaking via phone is often the best method to resolve your inquiry or concern. Our contact number is 800-250-4255. However, if you prefer email you can send your communication to cs@measureandmade.com and we will respond within one business day.

  • What are your hours of operation?

    Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 9:00PM  and Saturday, 10:00AM  - 4:00PM   Eastern Standard Time.  If you reach us outside of normal business hours, we will respond to your request within the next business day.

  • What if I make an error on my order?

    No worries! We know that life happens. Please contact our Customer Support team immediately. We will do what we can to make sure you get the order correct. Please contact us at 800-250-4255. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 9:00PM  and Saturday, 10:00AM - 4:00PM  Eastern Standard Time.

  • What is your shipping policy?

    We currently ship to the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. Item(s) are generally shipped within 48 hours of order confirmation and an email with tracking information is sent when the order ships. The average delivery time for standard shipping is five (5) to ten (10) business days. Expedited options are available at checkout for an additional fee paid by the customer.

    Standard shipping for all orders over $149 (pre-tax) is FREE in the 48 contiguous states. For orders under $149, a $10 flat rate is applied. For orders shipping to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico, a $3.00 surcharge is automatically added at checkout.

    Orders shipping to Canada are eligible for standard shipping only and will be assessed a $10 surcharge at checkout. Customer is responsible for all duties and taxes collected by the Canadian Borders Services Agency. If you are returning goods shipped by us to Canada, please note that we will not refund any duties and taxes paid to Canadian federal or provincial government. To inquire about such a refund, please directly contact the Canada Border Services Agency.

  • What is your exchange and return policy?

    All bottoms come with a 30-day money-back guarantee for fit and product satisfaction, so an exchange on your first order is FREE! If you need to exchange for a different Shapelogic Size, please call Customer Service to speak with a Shape Specialist at 800-250-4255 within 30 days of delivery and we will send you the new size in the same item(s) at no charge.

    Please keep your original item(s) until you receive your replacement item(s). Once you receive the replacement item(s), please confirm that the fit is correct by simply replying to the email that confirmed your exchange order was processed. Once we receive confirmation that the exchange product fits, our Customer Support team will email you with next steps on returning the original item(s).

    If you would prefer to return vs. exchange, please call Customer Service at 800-250-4255 within 30 days of delivery for an RMA# and free return shipping label. Your refund will be issued to the original form of payment within 7 business days after we receive confirmation that your return package has been scanned by the shipper. Please note $7.00 for processing will be deducted from your refund amount. You will then receive an email confirming the refund has been processed.   • Do I have to sell a certain amount every month?

    There are no monthly sales requirements to be a Shapesetter. However, in order to be paid at title, you need to sell a minimum of $500 per month.  

  • What are the startup costs for becoming a Shapesetter?

    They can shop one of two ways:  through your personal website or as a VIP Insider.    As a new Shapesetter, you will have your own personal website.  Your customer can shop directly on this website and you will earn up to 35% commission from these sales.  Secondly,   your customer can choose to sign up as a VIP Insider.  As a VIP Insider, they  join our exclusive rewards club. They will earn Measure & Made Shape Points when they AND their friends shop. And, you will earn up to 25% commissions from your VIP Insider’s purchases as well as their friend’s purchases.

  • How do you host a Shape Soiree?
